It reaches up to a foot in its leg-span, and also possess an inch long fangs each. It is known to shoot venomous hair of its body at its predator or disturbance, which is allergic in its bite but is not poisonous, and if bitten can induce profuse pain, nausea and extensive sweating. It lives in South America, but is universally found. The distinct noise of it is a hiss which it makes by rubbing its feet and can be audible up to a distance of 15 feet.

Even though it is misconstrued in its christening procedure, this 10.5 inch spider is know not to eat birds but a large array of other normal spider food like, lizards, insects along with mice and frogs. They live in rain-forests and possesses a brown body along with pink salmon hairs that it ejects towards its prey to paralyze them. After which it, pounces on and spits more acidic juices on the prey to digest before consumption.
