While I was surfing on the internet, a very shocking headline caught my eye on you tube. At first it was very difficult to believe but on further searching on different sites I found its true.

The news was regarding a Vietnamese who after his wife’s death dug up her body from the ground and then molded it with clay. The female figure that he made of clay he kept in his bed so that he could sleep hugging it every night since last 5 years.

According to the reports, Mr. Van used to sleep upon the grave of his wife since she died in 2003. He also told that he wanted to dig a tunnel just besides his wife’s grave so that he could sleep just next to her away from wind and rain.

The neighbors as well as local authorities found out Van’s intentions and persuaded him to stop doing such act of madness. So in 2004 Van went to his wife’s grave, dug up and brought his wife’s dead body in his home where it is still lying.

Van’s son is said to hug her mother’s dead body before going to sleep. Also the neighbor dared not visit Van’s house in the starting for many years, but now they have too grown accustomed to Van’s idea and now pay him regular visits from time to time.

Van said that he is a person who has totally different thinking and he believes that it is only his wife’s body that has passed away but her spirit still accompanies them and he is not afraid at all when it comes to sharing bead with her.

But the local authorities were planning to run a case on Van and investigate into the matter as according to the new laws, the dead body of a person needs to be buried or cremated and cannot be kept in residential houses without any kind of approval.
