James Bond is one of those legendary characters, who have ruled the Hollywood industry for decades now, besides being revered by millions of movie lovers all over the world. 1. Goldfinger

Set in the backdrop of the Cold War, this 1963 movie was shot at locations around the globe and ran around the story of a Russian cryptographic device, which was first stolen and then re sold to them. But Bond has to stop this from happening.
3. The Spy Who Loved Me
Next on this list is the 1977 movie, “The Spy Who Loved Me”, had Roger Moore star as James Bond. This movie got three Academy Award nominations. The film showcases the notorious villains Jaws and Karl Stromberg, who want to escalate a nuclear war in the world, by finishing off the cities of New York and Moscow using submarine missiles, but have to face Bond in their path.
4. Casino Royale
The 2006 movie starred Daniel Craig as James Bond for the first time and was incidentally one of the longest Bond movies. The story runs around how an evil terrorist financer Le Chiffre wants to make up for his losses by becoming a part of a high stake poker tournament to be held at Casino Royale and Bond wants to hinder his plans.

The next among the best 10 James Bond movies is this 1962 movie in which Sean Connery made his debut as Bond. The film also showcased the villainous group called SPECTRE (SPecial Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism Revenge Extortion) for the first time. They want to sabotage the rocket launch mission from Cape Canaveral, while Bond is employed to investigate.
6. On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
This film introduced a fresh face as Bond, the young Australian actor George Lazenby, who played this role just once in this 1969 movie. In this movie, the mission of 007 is to stop an evil villain who wants to destroy the world with a deadly virus.
7. Skyfall
Among the best James Bond movies is the 2012 movie “Skyfall”, which came on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the 007 films. It stars Daniel Craig as Bond and received 5 Oscar nominations, along with 2 Oscar Awards. The film was shot in locations at China, Macau, Istanbul and Scotland.
8. For Your Eyes Only
For Your Eyes Only (1981) is a classic espionage film starring Roger Moore as James Bond for the fifth time. In this movie, Bond is out to stop a villain who wants to sell a sunken top secret missile launching device to KGB, which could threat the security of the British Navy.

The 1989 movie had Timothy Dalton starring as James Bond and was a pure action flick. Bond is out to solve an international drug racket case as an independent agent in this movie, in order to avenge the murder of a friend and his friend.
10. Goldeneye
Another one of the top 10 James Bond movies is Goldeneye (1995), the film which saw Pierce Brosnan play Bond for the first time. It was the start of the high tech era in the Bond movies, covering the plot of a satellite based computer crime, which has to be stopped by Bond.
