Bruce Jenner was born on 28th October, 1946 in Mt Kisco, New York to Esther and William Hugh Jenner. As a kid, he never participated in track and field events, but was an avid football player till his college level. His potential was spotted by the track and field coach L D Weldon, who trained him to become a decathlon runner, and the rest is history.
