As we wait for the kick off of the long awaited 2014 The FIFA world cup on 12^th June, there are key players that everyone is waiting to watch play. There is confirmation from Sky Sports that Andrea Pirlo will retire from playing international football once the 2014 World Cup ends. Despite his age, his amazing skills and set pieces are very perfect and Italy will surely need a man of his character if they expect to go far in this competition. He displays an unorthodox style and is perhaps the most faultless playmaker; his passing is perfect and leaves opposing players confused as his unpredictability is just out of this world. He is the top dog of his Italian side and a must watch.

Toure is among if not the best holding midfielder in the world. He has some very dirty defending because of his huge body and also distributes the ball in all parts of the pitch. He is known for his very powerful shots from long-range and is an occasional running forward. He played a vital role in helping Manchester City win the Premier League. He is a very intimidating attacker and a main man for Ivory Coast so be on the lookout for this man.
