Costa has an amazing season at Atletico scoring a total of 37 goals in all tournaments. His presence in Spain will be very useful if Spain is to retain their crown. He is linked to Chelsea in the 2014/15 season

Despite Netherlands not being such as strong squad in Brazil this summer, Luis Van Gaal has a strong finisher who showcases brilliant performance: he was the top scorer in his first season in Man U in the 2012/13 season and is dangerous with his left foot.

 

6. Sergio Aguero (Argentina and Man City)

 

 

Sergio Aguero had an outstanding season in Man City but in the end of the season he suffered with injuries even though his club won the EPL. There is no doubt that he would have been the top scorer in the EPL. He is a creative forward who will help Argentina go far in Brazil.

The 22 years old Barcelona star had an amazing season in Barcelona and is considered to be amid the best players throughout the World. It will be his first time to play in the World Cup in Brazil and has the whole country behind his back as he is expected to lead his country to triumph.

 

8.Edinson Cavani (Uruguay and PSG)

 

 

He was a record signing for PSG with £52.7 transfer in 2013 from Napoli and showcased just how good he is after he led his club to win the Ligue 1 title and reached the quarters of the Champions League. He is a very dangerous and excellent striker who will be very helpful to Uruguay.

 

9.Karim Benzema (France and Real Madrid)

 

 

Benzema showcased just how much of a top class player he is as his assists and goals led Real to win both the Champions league and Copa del Rio trophies. He will for sure help cultivate France in going as far as the final in Brazil this World Cup.

 

10. Wayne Rooney (England & Manchester United)

 

 

Rooney sneaks in front of players like Balotelli, Martinez and Mandzukiv because of his superiority and dominance at club level. Rooney needs to showcase his great skills and outstanding finishing in England as he does for Man U so as to be considered a great.
