Golf is undoubtedly one of the most adored outdoor games. It is a ball game which is played on a golf course which consists of a progression of about nine or eighteen holes. Golf tournaments are highly competitive and they attract thousands of fans all over the world. At the centre of this noble ball game, is USA.  USA is arguably the leading nation when it comes to golfing. The country has the highest number of professional golfers and has 50% of the total number of golf courses in the world. It has prestigious golf courses with wonderful architectural design. The following is a list of the ten best golf courses in USA.

Pine Valley is the best course in America and in the world. It is located in Pine Valley in Southern New Jersey and is marked by vast areas of sand, scrub and thick pine trees. The private course was founded in 1913 by George Crump. This was Crumps first design and he was assisted by renowned designers like A.W. Tillinghast, George C. Thomas Jr. and Walter Travis. Indeed, no golf course is a par with the 18-hole course.
