After giving Monsters in 2010, director Gareth Edwards has come back with another sci-fi drama this year, but with much better special effects, thanks to a large team of expert technicians backing him up. The film has some prominent names on its star cast, including Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Juliette Binoche, Ken Watanabe and David Strathaim. The trailer shows images of a devastated city, which re-establish Godzilla as a ferocious force of nature.

3- Interstellar

As it has been reported, the story of this must see movie is about the discovery of a wormhole in space and the voyage of a team of scientists through this wormhole. Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Casey Affleck and Jessica Chastain play the lead roles in this movie, which has been shot extensively in Iceland and Canada. The film is much awaited on account of the cinematic tricks by the filmmaker Christopher Nolan.

4- How to Catch a Monster

The story moves ahead into a divorce case, during which the wife accuses her husband of stealing her work.

A sequel to the action thriller of 2011, The Raid, the film again stars Iko Uwais, going undercover to expose a Jakarta gang. We will come to know whether the film is going to create the same thrill as its prequel only after watching this one.

This is a much awaited animated movie this year, this movie moves five years ahead from the first chapter, where Hiccup and his friends are late teenagers, who find themselves in the mid of a conflict between humans and dragons.

10- X-Men Days of Future Past: After X-Men:

First Class, which came in 2011, this must see movie of 2014 is adapted from 1981 comic book and has a complex story line about mutant survival play out across two points in time. The film has Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page and Peter Dinklage in its star cast.
